Senate committee approves marijuana fine legislation

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY – State Senator Scott Bennett (D-Champaign) will be hosting a free clinic to help area residents lower their gas, electric and land line telephone bills.

Bennett is bringing in experts from the Citizens Utility Board for the clinic. These experts will offer free one-on-one analysis to attendees. They will go over bills, helping to spot billing errors as well as incentives designed to help consumers be more energy efficient.

The workshops will take place in two towns: Urbana and Danville.

The Urbana workshop is being hosted at the Urbana Free Library on 210 West Green Street in Urbana, Illinois. It is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, beginning at 5 PM and ending at 6:30 PM.

Danville's workshop will take place at the Danville Public Library on 319 North Vermilion Street in Danville, Illinois. This event is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, beginning at 5 PM and ending at 6:30 PM.
