Fundraiser benefiting MS programs held at Hickory Point Mall

FORSYTH, Ill. (WAND) - A social media threat suggested people riot at Hickory Point Mall in Forsyth, per the Macon County sheriff.

Sheriff Tony Brown said deputies have informed businesses in and around the mall about the threat. He said businesses are making their own decisions about whether or not they will close.

Forsyth police and a deputy were at the mall after 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
