David was raised in Macon County near Warrensburg on a Centennial Farm where he and his family still run the operation.

He started at WAND as an AG reporter when the huge Farm Progress Show came to Central IL in 1991. With the importance of Agriculture to Central IL, it was decided that featured AG stories would be interesting to viewers, so he was asked to stay on after that show.

David had a background in broadcasting with work at WSOY radio following graduation from Millikin University.

Agribusiness Today is a featured segment now and runs daily. He says that we never runs out of anything to talk about. As a farmer and AG broadcaster, he feels he has the best of both worlds, work at his passion and then getting to share the importance of Agriculture with viewers.

David and his wife Brandon have been married for 40 years and raised four children. They now enjoy six grandchildren.
