Maroa-Forsyth's Zion Young & Danville's Samantha Brown amongst winners at state finals

CHARLESTON, Ill. (WAND) -- Saturday was the final day of the girls track & field season. Several central Illinois athletes taking home hardware. 

Maroa-Forsyth's Zion Young would take home the state title in 1A shot put after throwing 13.94 meters. 

Danville's Samantha Brown would also claim first place after clearing 3.85 meters.
