MacArthur junior Jeffery Wells has picked up offers from a host of MAC and FCS schools this winter/spring. He is a National Honor Society member who is known for putting away track equipment despite being an upperclassman leader.

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- Two springs ago, a gift arrived in Decatur by the name of Jeffery Wells.

He came from Indianapolis' Perry Meridian High School, and the MacArthur freshman made it clear right away that he'd be not just a tremendous addition to the General football program, but to the school community at large.

As the now-junior prospect racks up Division-I scholarship offers, WAND Sports' Gordon Voit discusses Wells' unusual character and National Honor Society accolades.
