MAROA, Ill. (WAND) -- Maroa-Forsyth's 2-1 win was a crucial tally in the Sangamo Conference standings, but it's not the most important thing that happened in Maroa on Tuesday night.

The team held its annual "Pink Night" with a silent auction, survivor's walk and special pink uniforms.

With the win, Maroa-Forsyth improves to 5-1 in league play -- and in doing so keeps pace with other leaders like Pleasant Plains, Athens and New Berlin.
