Class 1A Quarterfinals

ARGENTA -- The Bomber football team has already made school history, posting 11 wins for just the third time ever.

If they are to get to the 12-win threshold and shatter the record set by the 1976 and 1986, they'll have to go through a red-hot Central A&M team that is also having a historic moment. The Raiders haven't hosted a quarterfinal game since 2001, when they went to the Class 2A state championship game.

Argenta-Oreana's offensive prowess is well documented: the Bombers have posted 94 points in the first two weeks of the playoffs.

In this WAND preview, Argenta-Oreana head coach Steve Kirk and star running back/defensive lineman Makhi Stanley talk about the program's magical year.
