DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- The St. Teresa football team has reached the state championship game for the first time since 2016.

The Bulldogs are looking for their first state title win since 1979.

St. Teresa enters the game with a perfect 13-0 record while the Vikings are 11-2 and are coming off of a 36-6 win over Maroa-Forsyth.

The Bulldogs have had this goal the entire season and now are just one win away from accomplishing it.
