(WAND) -- Above average temperatures will be plentiful as October kicks off.
Meteorologist Adam Del Rosso says high temperatures through the first week of the month will generally be in the 80s. For comparison, he says the average high is in the low 70s. The coolest day looks to be Thursday, according to Del Rosso, with high temperatures around 80.
As for rain, most of the week will be dry with the best chance for rain arriving on Thursday with a cold front. Del Rosso says there will be a few other minimal chances for rain before and after, mainly Tuesday and Saturday. Del Rosso says about one inch of rain, give or take, is expected in the next week.
