A look into your Memorial Day forecast

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Sunday! We start the day with grey and dreary conditions, but the forecast is looking much brighter.

A front is swinging through this morning with fog ahead of scattered showers. A few heavy downpours will be possible, but overall, this is light, scattered rain that will taper off by mid-morning.

By this afternoon, we return to sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 70s. Clear skies into the evening will allow overnight lows in the low 60s and upper 50s. The cooling under clear skies will also bring the return of patchy fog early Monday morning.

Fog will burn off a little after sunrise tomorrow, and we’ll enjoy a pleasant forecast for Memorial Day with sunshine and 80s for the afternoon.
