A pleasant end to the workweek

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Friday! We’re closing out the work week with a pleasant forecast.

After a few clouds to start the day, we’ll be back to mostly sunny skies by midday. Southerly flow and sunshine will help bring temperatures into the low 70s this afternoon.

Tonight, clouds return as a warm front slowly moves in. This will keep lows in the upper 50s overnight. Early risers on Saturday will see a cloudy start to the day, but sunshine returns by the afternoon, along with gusty winds up to 25 mph.

Get outside and enjoy the sunshine and low 70s while we have them, since we likely won’t have too many more days in the 70s for the rest of the season.
