CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Two dogs were killed in a house fire in Champaign Monday.Â
The Champaign Fire Department was called to a single-family home in the 1400 block of W. Clark St. at 11:12 a.m.Â
A passerby had reported seeing fire coming from the house.Â
Firefighters saw moderate smoke and fire coming from the home when they arrived. They were able to extinguish it quickly.Â
The cause of this fire has not been determined yet.
The owner of the home was not there at the time of the fire, but two dogs died in the house.Â
