(WAND) - Officials are investigating an afternoon fire in Champaign.
Firefighters responded to a fire at approximately 3:35 p.m. Saturday in a home at 1621 W. Church St.Â
Once crews arrived they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the side of the home. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.
Investigators still do not know the cause of the fire. No firefighters were injured. There was no one home at the time of the fire.
