ATLANTA, Ill. (WAND): Illinois State Police is on the scene of a vehicle fire on Interstate 55 Friday morning.
ISP says troopers have closed off the northbound lanes at mile marker 136 to handle the fire.Â
As of 3 a.m., troopers say the left lane and left shoulder were open for traffic.
ISP is asking drivers to seek alternative routes but if you are traveling on I-55, you are reminded to slow down and move over.Â
