DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — Five adults, two children, and their pets have been displaced by a house fire in Danville.
Firefighters arrived to the home, in the 1000 block of Kingdom Street, around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. Heavy fire was visible on the front porch and extended into the attic space.
All of the people and pets had gotten out of the building by the time firefighters arrived. It took about 20 minutes to get the fire under control but fighters remained at the scene to extinguish hidden fires.
No injuries were reported and the cause is currently undetermined.
