COLES COUNTY, Ill. (WAND)- A man reported missing was found dead by the Coles County Sheriff's Office, on Thursday.
According to the Sheriff's Office, investigators located the body of missing person Chad N. Brooks near the Westfield Road in rural Charleston.
Police said a missing person report had been filed in Edgar County on February 4, 2024.
The investigation is still active and ongoing, and no further information has been released at this time.
