CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — One person was airlifted to a hospital after suffering serious burn from a house fire.
The Champaign Fire Department responded to the fire at the 1300 block of Joanne Ln. around 3 p.m. on Thursday.
When crews got to the scene, the occupant was already outside and suffering from serious burns. Firefighters provided medical assistance while they fought the fire.
The occupant was airlifted to the hospital. There has been no update on their condition.
No firefighter injuries were reported.
