Pana home a total loss after fire

PANA, Ill. (WAND) - A Pana home is a total loss after a fire on Thursday afternoon. 

According to the Pana Fire Chief, the home was nearly fully engulfed by flames and smoke when crews arrived to the scene at 2690 E. 250 North Road in Pana. 

Crews arrived to the home shortly after 3 p.m. Several other fire departments were called out to help get the fire under control. 

The unoccupied is considered a total loss. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries were reported.
