GREENUP, Ill. (WAND) - Cumberland County Police Department say a girl who went missing from Greenup on July 19 has been found in Laredo, Texas.Â
Bridget Phillippi, 17, was last seen at her home in Greenup around 6:30 a.m. She was picked up by a man she met online from Nixa, Missouri who is also missing.
Cumberland County authorities confirmed Bridget Phillipi is alive and doing well, physically. Police in Webb County, Texas found Phillipi and Liam Ledford, a man in his 20s in the area, settled right along the border with Mexico, some time early Tuesday morning.
Family reported Phillipi missing after a man she met online picked her up from her home in Greenup.Â
The family told WAND News they were traveling to pick her up, and could not comment further on the situation.
As of late Tuesday morning, no arrest were made.
