DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – It’s been six years since 17-year-old Caleb Witty was murdered.
Police say Witty was killed protecting his sister during an attempted robbery on East John Street in 2011.
An arrest has not been made in the case. However, police continue to investigate the case and follow leads. A gun linked to the case was recovered by the Macon County Deputies and a composite sketch was released.Â
The family reminds people that it is not too late to come forward with information. No matter how small it might seem. A $6,000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest.
