Asian Forest Scorpion visits the WAND studios from Scovill Zoo

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - An Asian Forest Scorpion from the Scovill Zoo visited the WAND news studio on Wednesday.

According to Scovill Zoo animal handler, though venomous, the strike of a Asian Forest Scorpion is equivalent to a bee sting.  

The Scovill Zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
