Total Solar Eclipse Businesses

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — One local store is paying it forward a little less than a month after April's total solar eclipse.

The Party Shop, located at 411 N Main St in Decatur, collected 1757 pairs of eclipse glasses to donate internationally for the next eclipse.

On Oct. 2 of this year, an annular eclipse, also known as a "ring of fire" eclipse, will pass over Chile and Argentina.

If you still have a pair of eclipse glasses, you can donate them to Astronomers Without Borders.
