SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Do you have a top dog that you would like to show off?
There will be nine All-Breed Dog Shows during October at the Expo Center at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield.
The dates and times for the shows are as follows, according to Visit Springfield:
- Friday, Oct. 10, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 11, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 12, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 16, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 17, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 18, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 19, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Only AKC-registered dogs are entered, and at least 500 daily entries are expected during both weekends.
The shows are free and open to the public. Additional information is available on the Illinois State Fair's website.
