DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The Macon County Health Department will host multiple back-to-school events from July 30th through August 23rd.
The events are for all Macon County students. Essential vaccinations, physicals, tests and screenings will be done. All clinics will be at the Health Department building at 1221 E. Condit St., Decatur, IL.
Appointments will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents and guardians are asked to bring insurance cards and records if possible.
Upcoming Events
August 2
- Backpack distribution from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Immunizations, lead testing, dental screenings, car seat checks and resource fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
August 5
- Physicals for K, 6th and 9th grade only from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
August 7
- Dental screenings from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m.
- Immunizations and lead testing from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m.
- School and sports physicals from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
September 23
- School and sports physicals from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Immunizations and lead testing from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m.
October 2
- Physicals for K, 6th and 9th grade only from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
October 7
- School and sports physicals from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Immunizations and lead testing from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m.
October 15
- School and sports physicals from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Immunizations and lead testing from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
