BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WAND) - Bloomington police are searching for a man wanted for multiple homicides.
21-year-old Sydney T. Mays, Jr. AKA "Mitch" or "Syd" is described as a black man standing 5' 9" tall and 250 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his right arm with the name "Shavone."
He is considered armed and dangerous.
He has a warrant out of McLean County for six counts of first degree murder, two counts of attempted first degree murder, aggravated discharge of a firearm, and aggravated battery.
He is wanted in connection with three homicides and one non-fatal shooting on June 18 in the 300 block of Riley Dr. in Bloomington.
