(WAND) - Frosty nights are on the way to Central Illinois.
The chilliest air of the season moved in Sunday and we'll likely see the coldest temperatures since late April over the next few nights.

It'll be a breezy Monday with highs around 60°. While winds will subside tonight, we'll still see some clouds. It'll be chilly with lows in the upper-30s and a chance of scattered frost tonight.

Tuesday will be breezy again with highs in the upper-50s. There's a slight chance of a few showers, especially north and east.

Skies clear out Tuesday night and with light winds, most of Central Illinois will approach the freezing mark with lows in the low-30s.

Widespread frost is likely Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

It starts to warm up again to the around 70° Friday and we'll be back into the low-to-mid-70s this weekend.
