(WAND) — Illinois State Police made 34 arrests during a violent crime detail from April 16-18.
The detail was done in St. Clair and Madison counties, focusing on the East St. Louis area.
ISP filed 37 felonies and 60 total criminal charges in the three day span. 31 of those charges were firearm related.
Police confiscated 18 total firearms, including an AK-47 while searching a car on April 16. They also recovered 2 stolen vehicles.
