DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The Decatur Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a shooting that left a 21-year-old man in critical condition.
Trimarion D. Howell, 20, was arrested on Friday by members of the Street Crimes Unit and Community Action Team for a shooting that took place early Monday morning.
On April 29 around 2 a.m., DPD arrived to the scene in the 900 block of E. Riverside Avenue for a gunshot victim. The 21-year-old man had gunshot wounds to his chest and head. He was transported to Decatur Memorial Hospital and then later transferred to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition.
