Decatur - The city council voted unanimously to begin the dredging and rehabilitation of a Lake Decatur Basin.
Council authorized a professional engineering service with Chastain & Associates LLC to head a project to dredge and rehabilitate the Oakley Sediment Basin, to cost no more than $897,900.
Rehabilitating the basin will start in 2014 the dredging will follow soon afterwards.
