Springfield – A ground breaking that has been a long time coming is set for the Hyvee supermarket in Springfield.

 

The chain will convert the former K-mart into a full service supermarket. The construction also means the Spillway Lanes Bowling Alley will be demolished along with numerous other buildings.

           

The store will be open to the public early next year.
