Springfield, Ill (WAND) – State Representative Chad Hays will be resigning his seat in the Illinois House of Representatives in late August or early September.
The Republican from Catlin will be taking a job in the private sector. He has served in the General Assembly since December of 2010. He has been an Assistant Minority Leader since 2013 and served on the House Executive Committee.
Hays represented the 104th district which covers portions of east central Illinois. He previously worked as the Vice President of Provena United Samaritan Medical Center in Danville.
