HOMER, Ill. (WAND) - The Homer Fire Department has teamed up with OSF Pro Ambulance Service and will now have an ambulance in the station. 

Previously, HFD had to wait on an ambulance to come from Champaign.

OSF Pro Ambulance Service will be available for calls from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.

It will serve Homer and about a 15 mile radius around it.

The Homer Fire Department will still respond to calls along with the ambulance.
