DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — One child is dead after a house fire Saturday night in Decatur.
First Responders were called to the home on Jackson Street near Decatur Street just after 7 p.m.Â
Decatur Fire Department said, when firefighters arrived they found the three year old in the second floor of the home.
The child was taken to Decatur Memorial Hospital and died from their injuries.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
