SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — One lane is closed on I-55 near Springfield as emergency responders are on the scene of a crash.
The right lane of I-55 southbound has been closed near Milepost 99.
Illinois State Police responded to reports of a one car crash just after 2 p.m.
Police say an SUV went off the road and hit the right side guardrail.
Firefighters and EMS are still on scene.
