SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — A Springfield man was arrested for multiple burglaries and vehicle theft among other charges this weekend.

Darrion C. Walker, 22, was arrested in relation to a burglary on Yale Avenue, a burglary and vehicle theft from Country Inn and Suites on Stevenson Drive, a hit and run, and an attempted burglary at Shangri La Dispensary. 

Walker was taken into custody on Sunday for multiple counts of burglary, multiple counts of burglary to motor vehicle, theft from motor vehicle, criminal damage to property, multiple counts of criminal trespass to vehicle, theft of property, criminal trespass to property, possession of another’s credit or debit card, possession of stolen property, and motor vehicle theft.

He's currently in custody at the Sangamon County Jail and will go to court in early December.
