Danville IL – Firefighters are training on how to act fast, if one of their own is lost or trapped during a fire.

 

A Rapid Intervention team will be training this week. The fire department will use vacant buildings for emergency training exercises.

 

The training is funded by an Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program, but several firefighters and Danville businesses donated materials to build the props and training simulators. Â
