A violent break-in causes a small Vermilion County town to take extra safety measures.
Former police officer Micky Taylor shot and killed two men after they tried break into his home armed with a shotgun and a rope Monday night. Indianola's Mayor says residents have been calling him with concerns since then. Now, the Mayor is working to get more patrol cars on the streets.
22-year-old Thomas Moore died of a gunshot wound to the chest. 17-year-old Peter Chomyn, II, died from multiple gunshot wounds. Another 17-year-old allegedly driving their truck is in jail for home invasion.
