TUSCOLA, Ill. (WAND) - The Illinois Department of Transportation announced eastbound U.S. 36 under Interstate 57 in Tuscola will close overnight Saturday. 

IDOT said the closure is necessary to replace a damaged beam from a strike on the I-57 overpass. 

It will take place from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday. 

Drivers should expect delays and avoid the work area if possible.
