DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - Danville Police are looking for help and information after a 911 call led them to find a woman who had been shot.Â
Danville Police were called to the 1800 E. Main St. Wednesday night around 9:30 to check the status of someone due to a 911 call that was made.Â
Officers found a 67-year-old woman unresponsive. Police said they are investigating this as a shooting. She was rushed to the hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
Detectives are currently working the crime scene with the help of the Illinois State Police. There are few details known at this time and the Danville Police Department is asking anyone who may have information about this incident to contact 217-431-2250.
