Fairlife is pausing its U.S. production after a ransomware attack breached some of the milk brand's systems. Coca-Cola, which owns Fairlife, announced Thursday that unauthorized access affected production-related systems. Operations were temporarily suspended as a result, but the company maintained that product quality and safety remain intact. Fairlife’s Canadian operations were not impacted. Coca-Cola has informed law enforcement and is working with cybersecurity experts to investigate and restore operations. Cyberattacks are increasing across sectors. Beyond dairy goods, other breaches have recently resulted in anything from core education services getting knocked offline to empty shelves at popular clothing stores.
