Jurors in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial are hearing from the final witnesses in a case that has largely been about her mental state when she strangled her three young children. The trial resumed Tuesday with more testimony from a forensic psychologist hired by prosecutors to assess the defense claim that Clancy was suffering from acute postpartum psychosis. Clancy’s lawyer is questioning the psychologist about his conclusions, including whether the psychologist had made up his mind before interviewing Clancy. Prosecutors are expected to call at least one more expert witness before the trial moves on to closing arguments.

Authorities have found 56 bodies improperly stored at a Chicago funeral home. The remains were discovered Thursday in various states of decomposition at South Chicago Chapel. Illinois state officials have suspended the license of one of the funeral home's directors, alleging bodies were kept in an unrefrigerated area in deplorable conditions. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office is working to identify the remains and notify relatives. Police are investigating, but no arrests have been announced. Officials say the couple that runs the funeral home previously ran a crematory that was shut down because of mishandled remains. Messages were left for the funeral home and its owners.
