One person has died and about 15 people are missing or unaccounted for after a major flash flood at the Grand Canyon. The National Park Service said Sunday night that the body of a 46-year-old man was recovered near Crystal Rapids along the Colorado River. A major flash flood at the Grand Canyon has forced the evacuation of dozens of people and knocked out the sole water pipeline serving tourists and residents. Starting Monday, tourists won't be able to stay overnight at lodges and hotels in the park. Year-round residents are being asked to conserve water. The National Park Service says flash flooding Saturday also swept large boulders and metal structures into the Colorado River. No injuries were reported. More rain was possible Monday.

U.S. officials report about 90 U.S. citizens remain unaccounted for after catastrophic flash floods hit a border area of China and Nepal. Wednesday's flooding killed hundreds of people. The U.S. State Department says it is not aware of any U.S. deaths, but three Americans have been rescued. Many of the missing were on a pilgrimage to Mount Kailash in Tibet, a sacred site for Hindus and Buddhists. Indian spiritual guru Jaggi Vasudev, also known as Sadhguru, says 77 people from his Isha Foundation were at an immigration center in Tibet when the floods struck. The foundation said that 22 were Americans.
