During remarks made while speaking to GOP House members at the Kennedy Center Tuesday, President Donald Trump said the accident was “pretty bad” but that Baird and his wife, who was also involved in the crash, are “going to be fine.” Baird was first elected in 2019 and represents west central Indiana.
