Sherman has made it clear the Royals won't play at the popular but aging stadium beyond that season. Sherman said the main choices remain a site in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, another site in North Kansas City and potentially joining the Chiefs in moving across the state line to Kansas. The NFL team made its decision to put its new $3 billion domed stadium in Kansas City, Kansas, last December.
