DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Macon County Health Department and Macon Mosquito Abatement District are urging residents to take caution with their West Nile Virus prevention. MMAD has confirmed 66 positive mosquito tests out of 424 samples. With the expected increase in temperatures comes an added increase of WNV in birds as well as mosquitoes.
