Multiple companies have expanded or moved to Illinois for quantum projects and lawmakers approved $500 million this spring to build a massive research campus in Chicago.

The federal government has agreed to invest up to $140 million dollars for quantum research in Illinois.

Gov. JB Pritzker signed a bill into law Wednesday to expand tax credit programs and attract new technology businesses to Illinois.
