Swiss police and media say that a shooting at a rave in the northern Swiss canton of Aargau has killed one person and left five injured. Police say they are still looking for potentially more than one suspect and the motives and exact circumstances remain unclear. Cantonal police wrote on X that the shooting took place early Sunday in the canton’s capital Aarau, 29 miles west of Zurich. Swiss public broadcaster SRF reported that “Aarau Rave VOL. 7” was taking place at the horse racing track in Aarau’s Schachen district. A major police operation is underway.
