The FIFA Club World Cup comes to the United States this year and will run from June 14 until a champion is crowned on July 13 at MetLife Stadium.

The revamped 32-team tournament features teams from around the world playing in a format similar to the FIFA World Cup. There will be 12 teams from Europe, six from South America and others from Asia, Africa, North and Central America and Oceania, as well as from the host United States.

Inter Miami and the Seattle Sounders are the two American-based teams playing in the event.

The teams are divided into eight groups of four, with each team playing three matches in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group advance to a 16-team knockout stage. That stage continues until a championship is determined.

There will be 63 games over the span of 29 days.

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN THE WORLD CUP?

The World Cup, played every four years since 1930 (except for cancellations in 1942 and 1946 caused by World War II), is contested by national teams. The Club World Cup will be played by top club teams — Lionel Messi of Argentina is expected to play for Major League Soccer's Inter Miami.

WHERE DO I WATCH?

You can watch in the United States on DAZN and TNT Sports. All 63 fixtures will be streamed live, free of charge on DAZN globally. Also, TNT Sports has sublicensed right to 24 matches on its cable networks that include TNT, TBS, and truTV. That includes the group stage, knockout stages, and the final.
