CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Illinois puts its eight-game winning streak on the line in West Lafayette versus the No. 4 Purdue Boilermakers.
In their first game without senior Kylan Boswell, the Fighting Illini ran hapless Maryland off the court in an 89-70 win on Wednesday. Andrej Stojaković stepped up and led the team with 30 points, undoubtedly making his mom proud (aw!). Purdue is 17-2 this season and is coming off their first conference loss to UCLA Tuesday.
This game will be a matchup between the Big Ten's winningest teams over the past several seasons, as both are tied with 88 conference wins since the 2019-20 campaign, according to Illinois Athletics.
