CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - The red-hot Illinois Women's Basketball team hopes to finish its nonconference schedule on a high note against Jackson State.
Illinois is 10-1 which ties the best start in program history. The Illini are coming off an 81-69 win over North Texas Sunday. Jackson State is 2-7 on the year, with wins over Gardner-Webb and Mississippi University.
The Fighting Illini continue Big Ten play against the Purdue Boilermakers on Dec. 28. Illinois is 1-0 in the conference following a 78-57 win at home over Indiana earlier this month.
